Install Cent OS 7 on VMware Workstation

Previously we installed and setup VMware workstation and a virtual machine.

Now you can power-up your virtual machine.

Booting….

 

Select Language …

 



Date Time & Time Zone 

 

Set Installation Source As “Auto-Detect”

 

Installation Destination is your virtual machine hard disk

 

 

We will be talking Network & Host names in future chapter

So, at this time Click “Done”

 

Note :- You need to set Software selection as GNOME Desktop otherwise installation end up without GUI

Now you can click “Begin   Installation” 

 

While installing you must need to set a password for the root account

 

 

Also you can create an Administrator user account

* Note :- You need to tick "Make this user administrator" to make this account as administrator 

 
 



 

installation Complete ! Click "Reboot"
